 It’s show time! Join us at Stages Theatre Company for one or more of our exciting productions. Based on beautiful, imaginative and inspiring books and stories, our productions are built with young people, families and classrooms in mind.
 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

 

TICKET POLICIES:

Ticket Policy: Ticket orders will not be processed without full payment. We do not issue refunds. Exchanges can be made up to 24 hours prior to a scheduled performance. Exchanges can only be made for another performance of the SAME TITLE. Subject to availability.

 



BOX OFFICE HOURS:

Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to all performances.

MAINSTAGE THEATRE:

Unless otherwise noted, performances take place in the mainstage theatre. Seating is reserved and begins 30 minutes prior to showtime.

JAYCEES STUDIO THEATRE:

All performances of When You Trap a Tiger and Tell Me Your Dreams will be in the Jaycees Studio, a versatile space located in the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Seating is general admission and begins 30 minutes prior to show time. Come early for the most seating options!

THEATRE FOR THE VERY YOUNG:

Tell Me Your Dreams will be held in the Jaycees Studio. Due to the interactive nature of THEATRE FOR THE VERY YOUNG, seating will be on the ground to allow for movement, playtime, and participation. There will be alternate seating available for those who are unable to sit on the ground. Doors open 20 minutes before each THEATRE FOR THE VERY YOUNG performance time. Arrive early to enjoy preshow fun in our welcome area. A ticket is required for all patrons, regardless of age.
 

GROUP TICKETS

 

Group tickets are available for schools, home school groups, community-serving organizations, and public groups of 10 or more people. Restrictions apply. Please visit the Group Tickets page for more information!

Gift Certificates may be purchased over the phone by calling the Box Office at 952-979-1111 (Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-5pm).
If you purchase a Gift Certificate online, please know that the gift certificate will be mailed to the address on-file on your account.
*If you would like the gift certificate to be mailed with a personalized message, or to a different address, please follow the instructions below:
      • Within 24 hours of purchase, please call the Box Office at 952-979-1111 (Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-5pm) or email the following information in response to the Gift Certificate's email confirmation: Your name, purchase date, the name, address, and message for the recipient.

SENSORY FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING


 

Sensory Friendly Performances

Stages Theatre Company’s Sensory Friendly Performances are designed for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, as well as those with other sensory, social, cognitive disabilities and mental health diagnoses.  

Sensory Modifications include:
• Light in the theatre will remain on throughout the performance.

• Loud noises and intense lighting will be lowered or removed.

• Crowds are minimized, audience members can move around throughout the performance.

• Fidgets and noise-cancelling headphones are encouraged and available. Audience members are welcome to bring their own manipulatives, seat cushions, comfort objects, and extra support items to the show.

• Social Stories, and Plot Summaries will be provided in advance before each Sensory Friendly Performance.

• A Take-A-Break Space will be available to use throughout the performance, which is equipped with sensory supports.

Noise Canceling Headphones

Noise Canceling Headphones are available for all Stages Theatre Company Productions for audience members. Headphones are free of charge at the Box Office beginning 30 minutes prior to each performance. We require a photo ID or credit card to be held at the Box Office while headphones are being used.

Meet Your Seat

Meet your seat is an opportunity to come check out the space and your seats before the day of the show. To schedule a Meet Your Seat visit prior to your scheduled performance date, contact the Box Office at 952-979-1111.

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreted Performances


American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation by certified interpreters is offered for one performance of each mainstage title (excludes all titles playing in the Jaycees Studio including Theatre for the Very Young). The interpreters are located on the main floor, left section, between the stage and front row.

How to Reserve: To reserve seating in the ASL section, visit our website and make sure the ASL promo code is entered in the upper right hand corner of the ticket purchase page

Call (952) 979-1111 and request to be seated near the ASL interpreter when purchasing your tickets.

Assisted Listening Devices


Assisted Listening Devices are available for all Stages Theatre Company’s Main Stage Productions for audience members that would like additional audio support in performances.

Headsets are free of charge at the Box Office beginning 30 minutes prior to each performance. We require a photo ID or credit card to be held at the Box Office while assisted listening devices are being used.

*Consult your audiologist to answer questions about which audio cables you need to connect your hearing technology or cochlear implant to the ALD if you do not wish to use the provided headset.

MOBILITY




Wheelchair accessible seating is available at every Stages Theatre Company performance.

To reserve wheelchair accessible seating:

ONLINE: If seating is reserved, select seats marked with wheelchair icon. If seating is general admission, there will be multiple wheelchair accessible locations and you do not need to reserve a specific seat ahead of time. * Spaces marked with a wheelchair icon DO NOT have an actual seat. These are open spaces meant for patrons using wheelchairs to pull directly in to.

Accessible Parking is available at the rear of the Hopkins Center for the Arts and on the street level of the public parking ramp.

Accessible BATHROOMS are available on all floors of the Hopkins Center of the Arts.

Service Dogs


Certified service dogs are welcome at Stages Theatre Company. A Service Dog is defined as individually trained to perform specific tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual or other mental disability. The tasks performed by a Service Dog must be directly related to the individual’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is “the provision of emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship” are not considered Service Dogs under ADA.

Pay What You Can Performances


Stages Theatre Company offers one Pay What You Can Performances for each production. These performances have no minimum price, and patrons are asked to “pay what you can” the day of the show to support the theatre’s programming.

Patrons can begin reserving PWYC tickets 30 days prior to the performance. Please call the Box Office at (952)-979-1111.

Maximum per season/per household: • 4 Pay What You Can performances

• 4 tickets per Pay What You Can performance

Tickets sell out quickly. Advanced reservations are recommended.

The Open Door Program provides free and reduced cost tickets, bus subsidies, and tuition assistance to families, schools, and social service agencies.

MILITARY DISCOUNT

Stages Theatre Company welcomes U.S. military personnel, spouses and children, as well as U.S. veterans!

$5 tickets are available for all productions for military personnel, Veterans, and their immediate families (includes-spouses, children, and parents of those serving in the military).

How to Reserve: Call the Box Office at (952) 979-1111 and let our staff know you qualify for the military discount.

Maximum per season/per household: • FOUR tickets each for a max of FOUR performances
